The Curing House is Middlesbrough’s first restaurant dedicated to charcuterie and wine. We were commissioned to develop the brand from the ground up, including naming, brand strategy, visual identity and creative direction for the interior.
The concept centred around balancing craftsmanship with warmth, combining the precision of traditional curing techniques with the welcoming atmosphere of a family home. The name reflects both the culinary process and the building itself, while the identity cleverly incorporates specialist curing tools through the use of negative space.
The finished brand extends seamlessly across menus, signage, interiors and printed materials, creating a distinctive dining experience that reflects the owners’ expertise and passion.
